Support and care for Susie and Henry

This has been set up to provide those who wish to show support for Susie and Henry a place to do so. Susie has been Henry’s caretaker as he navigates Parkinson’s and Dementia, and last Sunday she was admitted to the hospital for severe back pain caused by a bulging disc. While the surgery to repair this went smoothly, there is still a significant recovery process ahead. In order for Susie to be able to heal like she needs to, they both will need in-home care throughout the recovery time. Doctor’s have said recovery will take close to 6 weeks, and while some family and friends have offered to help fill some of this time, there will still be a significant need and cost to provide care for the remainder.

The overall cost of the emergency room, hospital admission, and surgery, along with the recovery costs will be significant and overwhelming. Any help that can be provided to help cover these expenses, and go towards long-term care as we navigate next steps will be deeply appreciated!
