Sustain, Train, Educate, Promote-Uganda Project

Sustain, Train, Educate, Promote-Uganda Project has been providing medical and psychosocial capacity building since 2010 in a region of northern Uganda recovering from the prolonged war between Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army and the Ugandan government. Our emphasis has been maternal/child health and collective healing from the psychological trauma of the brutal war. Although in March 2020, we had to pivot our financial resources to COVID training and provision of Personal Protective Equipment, the American and Ugandan teams are resuming our previous work. The American team is excited to be on site again in January 2023. Please note that your gift is used for work on the ground (US team members pay for 100% of their travel expenses).
