Join Strathmore Rugby Club in Our Mission, #SustainableStrath, to Go Green and Support the Community!
At Strathmore Rugby Club, we're committed to building a sustainable future, and we need your help to make it happen. We're undertaking an exciting project to replace our oil-based heating system with renewable energy solutions, significantly reducing our carbon footprint. With guidance from the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) and Scottish Gas, we're aiming to lead the way in energy efficiency among rugby clubs in Scotland.
Why This Project Matters: This is more than just an energy upgrade—Strathmore RFC is a hub for the local community. Our facilities are used by:
-Physios and rehabilitation sessions for disabled children
-Strathmore Community Rugby Trust for people with learning disabilities
-Mental health clinics and suicide awareness programs
-Local running clubs and fitness groups
By helping us reduce our carbon footprint, you’re not just supporting the environment; you’re investing in a facility that serves everyone in the community. This project also aligns with the SRU’s goals to promote sustainability across rugby clubs in Scotland.
We need your help to raise the necessary funds to make this green transition. Any donation, large or small, will help us lead the way in sustainable sports facilities while continuing to support vital community programs.
Together, we can make a positive difference—both for the environment and the community. Thank you for your support!
