Sustaining the Pastures of Rose Creek
Donation protected
The Georgia farming community sustained a sudden and devastating loss with the passing of William Breedlove, the heart and soul of the Pastures of Rose Creek. In addition to a beautiful young family, including his wife and two small children, Will leaves behind a legacy of respect and care for land animals, sustainable agriculture, and a passion for small-scale farming. It is the goal of this family business to honor Will by continuing to provide nourishment to their community.
The Breedlove family has received an outpouring of generosity through meals and personal donations. This account was created with the specific goal of fundraising for the much-needed repairs, equipment, and miscellaneous operating expenses. Any donation is appreciated and helps.
About the farm:
The Pastures of Rose Creek is a 4th generation family farm located on 345 acres of pastures, ponds, pine forests, and the creek for which the farm bears its name - Rose Creek. Begun in the 1941, as the Breedlove Dairy Farm, the Pastures of Rose Creek operates today as a grass-fed cattle farm that focuses on sustainable agriculture, and organic farming practices. The farm produces grass-fed beef, dog bones, and pastured eggs that are sold at local farmer's markets and at the on-site farmstand.
