Remembering Sutton Ursula Beck
Donation protected
Sutton passed away on January 8th, 2021, following a severe snowmobile accident.
Sutton celebrated her 25th birthday on December 20th. She attended UW-Stout where she was also a Blue Devil Tennis player. Following graduation, she began work as a Residential Care Specialist at Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc.
Sutton survived pediatric cancer when she was 9 years old. She was quoted in a UW-Stout article dated July 2016 saying:
"If you ask anyone around me, they will tell you that I am probably one of the goofiest people they know. I want everyone to have fun and not take everything so seriously. After being diagnosed with cancer, it has taught me that family is the most important thing in life, they will be there to support you no matter what."
After Suttons passing, through organ and tissue donation, Sutton was able to save the lives of 4 women, the youngest being 14 years old.
We are fundraising to help offset the medical, funeral and other expenses that occur with such a sudden and unexpected event.
Alternatively, donations in Suttons name would be appreciated to the two following camps that provide a distraction for children who have been diagnosed with cancer:
TLC Camp in Lombard IL, a day camp providing activities for children with cancer and their siblings. - http://tlccamp.org/how-you-can-help/deneme/
Camp Quality Lansing IL, an overnight camp that promotes companionship and fun experiences for children who are diagnosed with cancer. - https://www.campqualityusa.org/il/ways-to-help/donate-money/
both of which provided a comfort and a childhood normalcy for Sutton.
Memories of Sutton will forever have a lasting impression on all of us. God Bless Us All.
