My dear family and friends and whoever are still believing in the Gazan people’s right in living peacefully on this earth, I wish my message finds you all in good health.
With many of you reaching out and asking to financially support me during these times, I want you all to know that It’s never easy for me neither for anyone in my place to seek help from others since we’ve been all the people who others depend on and always ready to support and give a hand.
Today I am left with no choice, having our building where the four apartments of my family have been completely burned and destroyed, where 16 of us have been living, besides losing all our income resources due to the ongoing war as everyone knows. I’ve been waiting for this nightmare to end in order to quietly think of the next chapter of our lives since death has not reached out to us yet, and I can’t deny that I’ve prayed for death a lot to end up this inhumane situation we are forced to endure, as we keep evacuating from a place to another having our mattress and sleeping covers with us, drifting apart as one family to several places, sleeping in tents, with strangers, with hosting friends or relatives and keep running the whole day to secure a clean water supply, food and charging batteries for a dim light finally at night and enduring the craziness of highly stressful financial conditions that killed our savings in no time, as we keep being forced to run away from death leaving everything thing behind and starting again every time from the scratch..
I figured out that this place is becoming lifeless every single day passes, having no clear vision about the future with all schools and universities have been destroyed and with the massive destruction that has reached out to everyone properties, working places, infrastructures, healthcare systems, and even commercial and cultural institutions.
I’m sending you my words with pain and despair that became my companion every time I remember I was forced to evacuate my house immediately leaving all my stuff behind, even my important documents. I, my husband, my only 12 years son, my mother-in-law, my 3 brothers in law, their spouses, and their 6 children have left immediately with a small purse each on his shoulder upon the IDF’s orders on 9th October,23.
All the 16 of us ran away at once thinking that we’ll be back the next day as always but seemingly going back to our normal life is becoming impossible. It would be another nightmare of going backwards to the emptiness as nothing is left for us there to go back to.
Today I have no option but you. No one knows, we barely keep trying to learn in this unfair world. We who fight against evil to make peace and teach peace to others, are becoming threatened and helpless. We who highly educated ourselves to be a different version of the stereotypes and believed in educated people who can change their society’s reality into a better future, are standing helpless today watching all we’ve been working on through human rights law’s awareness, education, and free business are becoming no more than a big NOTHING…
I believe there’re still good people in this world every time my friends reach out to me to provide financial support, and I still believe I can lean on these good people in these toughest times to help us get out of this cursed place, since also running out from death has a price of $5000 dollars as travel coordination for each person! Can you imagine how life can be priceless and expensive at once.
For all of this, I think $20,000 would be sufficient financial relief to restart our allocation with the four of my family members abroad and cover the basic traveling arrangement required to move out safely.
Your prayers and thoughts have been answered, they’re the reason I am protected and still alive till today.
With love and peace, all we have left!
