This is not just about the story of my mom. It's about creating awareness for online dating and bringing awareness of the dangers of being online. Proceeds will help me to fly out to see my mom as I miss her so much and hurts I can’t see her.

other proceeds, If we make the target I would like to see the extra funds raised to help my mom's case by getting her a lawyer, and any extra funding beyond that would go to Fraud Prevention to help protect and stop these scammers and cons from hurting and ruining others' lives. I want to create awareness and make this a big issue that needs to be discussed to help others to be more aware of online dating.

Also, it’s about proving my mother's innocence and making this an international issue and not just a Hong Kong issue.

In addition to trying to raise funds so that my mother can afford the cost of a good lawyer to prove her innocence of this being a romance scam, I want to also educate everyone about the dangers of internet dating or simply being online.

I’m sorry it had to start here, so close to home. But if we can save others from the same fate, and bring awareness and talk about these issues just as we are starting to talk about mental health issues. Then these posts and documentary have done their job.
