Suzanne "Satterfield" Harris Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
On May 19, 2021 we unexpectedly had to say good-bye to Suzanne Rae Harris (Satterfield) and were ill prepared. Covid and its effects ravaged her and devastated a great many hearts with her loss. Suzanne touched a good many lives through the years: her husband, children, grandchildren as well as her extended family, whether through love or by blood. She was kind, funny, stubborn and absolutely devoted to her family, friends and her faith.
Suzanne devoted most of her life to helping others. She was a social worker for many years and when she became disabled and unable to work, helped take care of her grandchildren who were the shining light of her life. She and her husband Jeff had planned to buy life insurance last year, but that took a back seat when the pandemic hit. Social distancing to avoid the virus and life in general took priority and by then it was too late, the virus managed to catch up to her anyway.
Please, in lieu of flowers we would sincerely appreciate any consideration of financial donations to help cover burial expenses. Any amount, no matter the size we would be thankful for. Funds will be used towards her plot, services and memorial marker. In the event of excess funds, they will be used to cover immediate expenses for her husband and children who also felt the catastrophic effects of Covid, either through loss of employment or by loss of work hours due to catching the virus as well. Again, any consideration will go a long way in covering necessary expenses. Thank you to all that have touched her and our lives in
some way.
