Help bring Suzanne Ratcliff home

PLEASE HELP GET OUR LOVED ONE HOME
Our beautiful, full of life sister, Suzanne “Sue” Ratcliff, mom to Katelyn Ratcliff Miller, suffered a devastating stroke in January. Sue moved to St. Louis to be closer to her daughter and grandkids. The last few months have been a rough, slow recovery. Katelyn is the only family in St. Louis and has been by her mom’s side daily. The siblings have traveled to St. Louis multiple times to stay with Sue so that she always had family around her and help Katelyn. Sue was in the hospital, then moved to a rehab facility and now in a Skilled Nursing Facility where the family is not happy with the care. Sue wants to come back home to Louisiana, and the family agree she should come home. We have started the process of getting her home and will require medical transport to endure the 9-hour drive, which the cost is in the thousands. Once we get her home, if there is not a skilled nursing facility spot available, she would stay in one of our homes. Our family will rally together to care for Sue but will need assistance from sitters which is not covered by insurance. We just want her home as soon as possible. We know as soon as she gets in the vehicle to come home, she will be happy and know that she will get the best care. If you can donate to help with the expenses, any amount would be greatly appreciated. We know these are tough times for everyone and understand if you are unable to donate, your prayers would be welcomed. God is amazing and has answered many of our prayers during this time.
