Suzanne Squires Werbenec

On Thursday, October 5, at 1:34pm, Suzanne took her final breath, surrounded by family who loved her. While Suzanne suffered from many health problems, her sudden cardiac arrest earlier this week was unforeseen and it has shocked her loved ones--we all thought we had more time to share with Suzanne. Suzanne was a daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, mother, wife, and grandmother. Suzanne was undoubtedly spunky and full of sass. With her, there was never a dull moment…a true steel magnolia. Nothing made her happier than her daughters, grandson, and husband. Her sense of humor, strength, and compassion for others will be sorely missed. While our hearts are heavy, we know that she is now at peace, in the hands of God she so believed in and prayed to.

Please support us in raising funds to lay Suzanne to rest, helping to cover costs of interment, service, and a marker with a vase to remember her love of flowers. Donations above these funeral arrangement costs will be split evenly between her two beloved daughters.

Oct 11 update: the overall goal has been reduced by $1,000 because of a donation that GoFundMe returned to sender due to a flag in their system but the funds were provided directly outside of this platform. Thank you to all for your on-going generosity.
