Suzie & David Diorio Needs your help

UPDATE 9-26-23. 4 Months, 27 days from diagnosis I’m sad to announce that Suzie lost her battle to cancer tonight… She is no longer in pain or suffering… May she rest in peace now that God has taken her under his wings…. Hi Everyone…..

As you well know our very dear & close friend Suzie Diorio retired from her job & moved to South Carolina from New Hampshire to enjoy her retirement with the love of her life David.. She was on Cloud 9, enjoying their new residence and spending quality time together… Just 11 months later on April 29, 2023 she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer which very quickly spread to both lungs, then to the skull bone, to the lymph nodes to the brain itself and now the liver & other organs. She has been in & out of the hospital (including 13+ days in ICU) & has endured months of the strongest chemo-therapy there is which never shrunk these ever growing tumors. She would constantly collect fluid in the lungs causing her to not be able to breathe which meant yet another 911 call to be admitted.

On September 23, 2023 she was sent home from the hospital with in-home hospice care because there is nothing more they can do for her.

On top of all this Dave needed to pay 350.00 to euthanize one of Suzie’s beloved pets (Dillon) just this past Thursday… Talk about double pain….

We don’t know how much longer God is giving her here on earth.

Needless to say without life insurance, all the Medical bills piling up and now the thought of funeral/Cremation arrangements Dave is distraught and worries every moment how he is going to make ends meet….

I’m starting this Go Fund Me in hopes that Dave will be at peace knowing that some of his worries won’t be financial..
