Suz's Mobility Fund!

Hi, My name is Suzanne and I am a person with Parkinson's Disease and I am raising funds to purchase an ALL Terrain Wheelchair so I can strenghten my upper body, become more independent and get back out into Nature!

The GRIT Freedom Chair (see website below) is costly but will allow me to self-propel on grass or sidewalks and with support I can get back out onto trails, sand and light snow, WOW!!

I cannot move myself in a regular wheel chair but the unique design of the Freedom Chair let's me pull on upright levers to move instead of reaching down to try to roll a big wheel. It also has 'off-road' tires and and an extended third wheel in front for increased stability.

Every single dollar raised will go towards funding the purchase of a GRIT Freedom Chair 3.0 with accessories that I can use for independent outings in the neighborhood and with Paul and friends on off-road adventures.
