On 27th April 2025 I will be running the iconic London marathon for my wonderful friend Suzy.

In October 2023, at 34, Suze was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite fighting through gruelling rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and multiple surgeries, followed by a pioneering immunotherapy trial treatment in Mexico, devastatingly, Suze passed away a few weeks ago in March 2025. I know my life, and those who were lucky enough to have her in theirs, will never be the same.

I was extremely lucky to spend time with Suze earlier this year whilst she underwent treatment in Mexico and I asked if she'd be ok if I raised money directly for her to support her fight as I knew that she hadn't been keen on sharing her diagnosis widely. She agreed and I really don't want to let her down now. I'll be putting these funds in the hands of Rob, her wonderful husband, and her car-loving three-year-old son Ollie.
