Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,

 It is with heavy hearts that we reach out to you today, seeking your support and generosity for Sarah and Svetlana, who are currently facing an unimaginable journey to recovery after a tragic car accident. On 1/4/24, Sarah, Svetlana, Irina (Svetlana's sister), and Galena (Svetlana's mom) were involved in a devastating head-on collision. Tragically, Irina and Galena lost their lives in the crash, leaving us grieving the irreplaceable loss of two beloved family members. Sarah and Svetlana are now bravely battling through the aftermath, both physically and emotionally. They are currently receiving medical care in a Florida hospital, having undergone multiple surgeries to address severe injuries to their back, pelvis, broken ribs, and legs. The path to recovery will be long, encompassing intensive rehabilitation and the arduous journey of learning to walk again. The purpose of this GoFundMe campaign is to alleviate the financial burden on Sarah and Svetlana, covering their substantial medical bills, expenses related to the tragic loss of their family members, and the logistics of bringing them back home to North Carolina. The funds raised will also contribute to the extensive rehabilitation needed for their recovery. 

 The accident occurred when another vehicle, tragically driving in the wrong lane against traffic, collided with theirs. The driver of the other vehicle also lost their life in the crash. Close family and friends have gathered in Florida to provide support and comfort during this challenging time. Your contributions will make a significant impact on Sarah and Svetlana's journey to healing, helping them rebuild their lives after this devastating incident.
