Svetlana Mikheyeva Memorial

Hello, friends and family.

 

It is with deep sadness that I write to you the passing of our mom, Svetlana Mikheyeva (1958-2022).

She passed away today at around 7:00 am from stage 4 cancer surrounded by her loving family.

 

My mom lived her life to the fullest potential. She always taught me to dream BIG! This is something I learned from her from an early age. She inspired me to be who I am today. I followed in her footsteps, and I became a history teacher like her.

 

Her passion for sharing knowledge was something that made her truly unique.

 

Her love for God was something else that defined her when she turned 30.

At 30 years of age, my mom became a Christian in the Soviet Union. For the next 30-plus years, she went on to raise her eight children with Christian values and principles.

 

Today, her greatest legacy left on earth are her eight beautiful children and one grandchild. She made sure to have her faith play an important role in their lives.

 

Now, she is at last reunited with her beloved husband of 40+ years.

Her memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday (4-30-2022).
