Help Save Cinnamon's Smile!

My life has suddenly been disrupted by a dental emergency: a bridge that I'd had installed a few years ago (while I was still working & insured) fell out!! I was told that the two teeth supporting the bridge had apparently "failed" and the roots needed immediate extraction. (Fortunately, there is no pain, because those teeth had previous root canals done.)

After X-rays and a treatment plan workup, I was presented with an estimate totaling over $4,900 to cover the cost of all restorations: the two extractions, a partial, a crown, and several nearby fillings—to be completed during six office visits over the next several weeks.

This expense will break my carefully-balanced monthly budget. I now live primarily on Social Security income and have just enough coming in each month to cover rent, utilities, and groceries, with very little left over. I did manage to save a little after getting fully moved & settled into my apartment—but I just had to spend that on the urgent extractions.

I cannot afford payments on any debt. Ironically, now that I am retired, I finally have a monthly check that I can actually count on (unlike when I was working)—so I am above water at last, and I just don’t want to sink again!

If you know me personally, you probably understand how difficult it is for me to ever ask for anything, so posting this GoFundMe is an act of courage on my part. I’ve always worked very hard, and didn’t have any family or husband to help along the way (grateful for my friends!), so I've done the best I can on my own for all these years—but I guess I've reached a point now where I must swallow my pride and ask for help.
