She is a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and everyone’s “Cake Lady” but most importantly Debbie Brock is an amazing human. She is an extremely hard worker and always puts others before herself. She has cared for her husband for years through several surgeries for crohn’s disease and more recently a massive heart attack. She is now the one in need of our prayers and support. On top of all of the medical expenses, she has had to temporarily close her business. We have set up a go fund me page to help with the extensive medical expenses. Any contributions/prayers would be greatly appreciated.

My mom Debbie "The Cake Lady" has unexpectedly had some pretty severe health issues arise. Sunday August 16th she was airlifted to Parkview North in serious condition. She had blood clots in her lungs and in her leg that were life threatening. She was admitted to the hospital and less than 24 hours later one of the clots went to her brain she suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and became Unresponsive and was rushed in for emergency brain surgery with the outcome not in her favor. She made it through the surgery but had to be put on a ventilator and a medically-induced coma for three days.
By the grace of God and the power of prayer and an amazing group of doctors Miracles are starting to happen for my mom and our family, she is awake and breathing on her own and trying to say a few words. This is going to be a long road to recovery for my mom and we appreciate the outpouring of love and support this community has for my mom and her wonderful amazing talent at Brock's Cakery . We are going to need to temporarily close and let my mom heal.
Thank you to all of the Brock's Cakery customers who have supported my mom for the last 20-plus years. We hope that she will make a full recovery and be back doing what she loves and is so passionate about, her cakes and the relationships with her customers brings her such joy and purpose.
