Swans of Daventry

Our names are Jane and Emma, some will already know we continuously look after and feed the swans and birds of Drayton, Heartlands, lang farm and Occasionally the country park. We first started out just looking out for the small families of swans. We met with this common interest and have over the years Rescued many of the Swans. Over the coming months and as the cold weather has set in we have seen a drastic increase in the number of Hungry swans. We have recently seen an increase in swans looking for food in other swans territory, and when released they are so hungry its heartbreaking, it is more important now to keep them safe, happy and healthy. We now find ourselves in a position where to continue this and ensure they are well looked after until warmer months we will need some help, We have decided to try to raise money and/or item donations such as Porridge oats, Brambles floating pellets, 12kg mixed bird seed and plain cornflakes, if you wish to donate items instead please text 07732709457 or 07979011430. If you are a regular dog walker/walker at the country park and cannot donate money please take a loaf of brown bread with you (42p in tesco) if you can to feed them. Thank you for your support
