Swedish chapter in the Chartres pilgrimage 2025

Ever since 2018 a Swedish chapter has been organized to walk the Chartres pilgrimage during Pentecost. This year, the Legion of Saint Eric and Sankta Birgittas Pilgrimer are organizing the chapter and we need help with the funding. All non-anonymous donors will have their names added in the booklet and anonymous donors will be added as "anonymous donor". As a thanks all donors we will be kept as part of our prayer intentions during the entire trip.

The Chartres pilgrimage is a well known 3 day pilgrimage from Notre Dame de Paris to the wonderful Notre-Dame de Chartres approximately 100km (~60 miles) away. Where the cathedral in Chartres stands there has been a church since the fourth century and Catholics have long gone on pilgrims there. Inside the church the veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary is displayed, a worthy place for such a holy relic.

About 18000 pilgrims walk each Pentecost and we expect to be 50 in the Swedish chapter. We will all go together by buss to France and are in need of help with funding. Therefore we are thankful for every crown we can get. Every year we make a booklet with songs and prayers that we use throughout the trip,

We will make sure to pray many rosaries for all the donors.
