Sweet Audry's Emergency Surgery

Audry, (or 'lil Sweet, as we often call her) has become quite sick. She's an 8 year-old Rat Terrier. She has developed pyometria. This is an infection of her uterus, and she must have her uterus and ovaries removed immediately.

She is at the Tufts Veterinary Emergency Hospital, in Grafton. It looks like she will be there for the next few days.

The hospital took a $3200 deposit, and has told us that the costs may go as high as $4000.

I am sure that we cannot cover that and maintain any ability to heat our home for the rest of the winter.
