Sweet Denver Hit By A Car

We were alerted by folks that while on vacation in NY they found a 12 week old kitten hit by a car.  They took her to the vet and were told she had 3 broken legs, some internal injuries and some bad external wounds.  The vet suggested euthanasia :(  The finders said NO and flew this sweet girl we call Denver home to Maryland with them and contacted FRA.  One of our amazing fosters stepped right up and Denver is scheduled for our vet, Advanced Veterinary Complex in Resisterstown MD tonight at 5:30 for a wound cleaning and recheck.  These types of visits will be ongoing for Denver who is on crate rest.  She will need constant care for a while before she is as good as new.  Her bandages need to be changed several times a day and the wound allowed to breath but as you can see from this picture she doesn't mind.  We have set the goal at $1000 because the vetting at this point is going to be ongoing for a while.  Donations can also be made directly to our account at Advanced Veterinary Complex at (410) [phone redacted].  If you can't donate please share.  We are thankful for all you do.
