Portland dog shot by teen at high school- Sadhana
Donation protected
Sadhana, a very sweet mannered 3-year-old female coonhound was on a walk at our typical stomping grounds of the track at Grant high school Marshall campus on Friday May 10th, 2019 when she was shot 3 x.
Upon seeing a young man hiding on the stairs of the field, she barked. Although she kept a safe distance (as she always does), the young man shot my sweet dog immediately after her bark and proceeded to run away.
She will need multiple surgeries and months of rehabilitation to return to the energetic, jubilant, smile bringer she is.
Other than being my absolute best friend and partner in community building, Sadhana is an incredibly resilient dog who loves everyone she meets and relishes the outdoors. Her loving nature draws people in and brings joy to anyone who crosses her path.
I would be extremely grateful for any donations that can be given to support my best friend and "baby girl" in continuing to live out an active and joyful life. Thank you for supporting me in rehabilitating my puppy after this tragic and unexpected gun violence crime.
