Sweet Madison McGinnis' Funeral Costs
Donation protected
On February 22, 2020 our family received devastating news. We found out that our spunky, almost teenaged little girl, Madison, had a mass on her brain. After a MRI and biopsy at A. I. duPont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, DE., it was determined that Madison had a cancerous tumor.
Madison went through radiation at the Christiana Care Helen F. Graham Cancer Center. After a few months, in an effort to see how the tumor was reacting to treatment, we learned that unfortunately, the tumor had grew again.
Just 11 months after Madison's devastating prognosis, on the morning of February 4th, (on World Cancer Day) the Lord took her home. Madison leaves behind 3 siblings and 2 loving parents who adored her. But, since their fight began, the family has shared many meaningful moments and experiences; they have grown in love and laughter, but are now met with the burden of having to bury their 13 year old daughter/sister/cousin/granddaughter/friend.
As if that were not already enough to endure- costs have been increasing and the bank account has been shrinking since this battle started. Madison did not have a life insurance policy and the upcoming weeks will be the most difficult time for Madison's parents and siblings.
They could certainly use the blessing of sending their little girl home without having the concern of where the funds are going to come from. Please share with everyone you know. Please donate if you can. Please keep them in your hearts and prayers.
