sweet mama and her pups

this sweet, smart mama found a quiet place outside of the city to give birth: a residential facility for people with disabilities. she must've known there would be kind-hearted people there who would help.

volunteers spotted her and set up space for her and her 5 puppies in a covered storage area that converted easily into a kennel. the priest who lives on site has been feeding them with food provided by these volunteers.

within 24hrs of learning of this sweet gal (and falling in love with her) we secured foster homes for her and the pups. once the puppies are weaned, she will be going to a quiet private home and they will go to a puppy sanctuary.

we are taking full responsibility for mama, and are offering financial support for the puppies.

mama: $250

mama will get all her vaccines, be spayed (once she has had time to decompress), and we screened for TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumor, a very common and easily curable cancer that is prevalent in the area) and a full tick panel for tick-bourne illnesses.

puppies: $250

$50/ea covers their vaccines and spays once they are big enough.
