Mary Wingfield ❤️
It is with heavy hearts that we share this news: On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 18th, one of the best women we’ve ever known was taken from this world after a week-long battle in the ICU following a severe heart attack. Mary Wingfield was a beloved wife, loving mother of 3 (though she’d taken in so many of us as her own), caring sister, incredible colleague and friend.
For those of us who had the pleasure of knowing Mary, we knew light, we knew love, and we knew the overwhelming feeling of home. There are too many of us to name- friends, family, coworkers- who will deeply miss the feeling of joy that came when she graced us with her bright beautiful eyes, warm hugs and constant positivity.
For those who didn’t know her personally, know that she was unwaveringly loyal and trustworthy. Know that she was an incredibly strong woman who gave us nothing but encouragement, kindness, and affection. Mary never failed to show up for those around her, listening to and believing in those who weren’t yet ready to believe in themselves. She gave the best advice, opened her home up to all that needed it, supported our dreams and gifted us a family that was built from the love and light she had within herself. Know that we will never be able to thank her enough for the good she did in each and every one of our lives. Although we grieve her death, we know that she is now at peace.
In the wake of this unexpected tragedy, we are asking everyone to come together as a community to lift the financial burden of the funeral arrangements, medical expenses and next phase steps off of the family. They deserve the space and opportunity to grieve this sudden loss, without worrying about this obligation. If you loved Mary as we did and/or knew the never-ending love she had for Wayne, Alex, Nick and Rachel, please consider donating to this GoFundMe.

A Poem to Remember her by:
Memories of You
by Unknown
I remember everything about you,
your voice, your smile, your touch,
the way you walked, the way you talked,
the way you looked at me, meant so much.
I remember all the words you said to me,
some funny, some kind, some wise,
all of the things you did for me,
I see now with different eyes.
I remember every moment we shared,
seems like only yesterday,
or maybe it was eons ago,
It's really hard to say.
You are gone from me now,
but one thing they can't take away,
your memory resides inside my heart,
and lights up my darkest days.
Sleep in peace our beautiful angel.
