Sweet Scruffy needs our help!

Sweet Scruffy is down on his luck and just can't catch a break This boy is the NICEST, SWEETEST, FRIENDLIEST, community cat we've ever had the pleasure of caring for.
Neighbors concerned about this poor street cat reached out for help when they saw flies buzzing about his gnarly neck wound. The wonderful staff at You'll Never Walk Alone Vet cleaned, clipped, and stitched his wound, extracted some teeth, gave him some antibiotics, and gave him some much needed TLC.
A few days later Scruffy started shaking and trembling, losing his balance, and seemed to be getting weaker. We rushed him to Catonsville Emergency Vet where they found his sodium levels off the charts. The staff at Catonsville EVC are working diligently and carefully to bring his sodium levels down safely - a tedious task requiring critical, round-the-clock care for the next few days.

We don't know what is causing his high sodium levels. Hopefully it's a case of acute, severe dehydration that we can remedy with no further intervention. If we can't get him stabilized we'll need to perform more testing to figure out what's going on with him.
