Sweet Skye and Sevannah
Sevanah (17) and Skye (14) sisters wete involved in a horrific life-threatening automobile accident on November 25, 2019. The two sisters said goodbye to their mother in the morning at 615am, taking 1 last picture together and posting their trip on Facebook for their friends and family to see. The girls were in good spirits and looking forward to the road trip and spending Thanksgiving with their father.
The trip started well, and the girls were on their way to Colorado. They were driving for approximately 2 hours when incurring a highway construction zone. The car in front of them hit an orange cone placing it in the middle of their drive lane. Sevanah “driver” out of instinct attempted to swerve and miss the cone losing control of the vehicle. The vehicle then rolled over several times ultimately landing upside down. The sisters were badly injured.
Sevanah has a badly broken foot but is in stable condition. Her sister, Skye was not so lucky and suffered far greater injuries. Skye was seat belted in and the seat belt held her only halfway in the car while it rolled over. Skye was slammed repeatedly as the car violently rolled. This left Skye with very serious injuries including: a lacerated liver, spleen, collapsed lungs, broken facial bones, both legs broken, and massive head injuries. Skye is now on life support and fighting for her life by the hour.
Crystal is a single mother and works very hard to provide financially for them. The injuries to her daughters from the accident will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars making it impossible for Crystal to support her family. This will be an incredible hardship that will be almost impossible to overcome emotionally and financially for the family.

It is times like this we should come together and support and protect each other in a time of need. We cannot remove the pain, heartache, suffering and anguish of her children being so badly injured, but we can offer her support to ensure they do not have to worry about their finances.
