Sweet Soul Departed

Lysa was a quiet soul that brightened the room every time she entered it. She had a heart to serve and was loyal to all she loved. She loved to laugh with her best friend Velisa, her cousins and siblings. Lysa had plans to establish herself in a solid medical career beginning as a dental hygienist. She was set to start school at the first f the year, 2020.
Her dreams also included building a life with her heart-song, Kevin. Oh!! how he loved her. His was planning on asking her to marry him for Christmas. She was so beautiful. She just took your breath away to look at her.
It is so hard to write these words as I never thought I would have to do something like this. God blessed me with her when her father and I married. She was NEVER a step- daughter. I loved and LOVE her as if she was mine from birth. My heart is breaking with every word that is written. This is the second child I have lost due to gun violence. Her father, Mitchell Blake Sr , myself and her biological mother Rebecca Nolan are DEVASTATED. No mother, NO PARENT should ever have to bury their child.
We are here to ask support to help memorialize our daughter. We had big plans for the holidays for all of our family and were NOT prepared for a tragedy like this. Because we are so close to Christmas we are not afforded a great deal of time to handle our affairs nor were we prepared financially. Your support will allow us to honor her spirit, celebrate her soul properly and bring the family together during a time as this. With your support we will have her services before the holidays. Her father and I will MAKE SURE the funds are used to help us address all the families needs during this time.
Anything offering you give no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated. Hug your loved one's, tell them you love them. Tomorrow is not promised. Lysa KNEW she was LOVED!!!!!
