Sweet Abilities

What's better than ice cream?  I'll tell you...ice cream with a PURPOSE!   I have had a dream to begin this business for many years and it is finally happening.  As a Special Education teacher, I spent over a decade teaching young adult students with disabilities important life skills to help prepare them for the world after they graduated from school.  Well it turns out the world is not ready for them.  There simply is not enough opportunities for them; more importantly there is not enough opportunities that fit their needs and abilities.  This is why I am starting a unique and functional mobile ice cream business where our "crew" are not only serving delicious local ice cream, but receiving opportunities to be contributing working members of society.  Each one of our "crew” has varying abilities, and this business will tailor to each one of those unique abilities to help them succeed.

We would like you to know how your donation would help make this dream come true.  This business is in the very beginning stages but plans are happening quickly which means costs are as well.  The following expenses are necessary in order to get the business up and running as soon as possible. 
1.    A trailer that will accommodate the aspects of the business as well as my "crew's" needs. 
2.  A display chest freezer to hold the pre-packaged ice cream treats
3.  A storage deep freezer
4.  A payment system
5.  A generator 
6.  Permit fees/insurance costs/filing fees 
7.  Uniforms
8.  Marketing costs
9.  Starting inventory
