Sweta's 2021 Birthday Fundraiser
Tax deductible
This year for my birthday on April 14th, I am raising funds for a cause very near and dear to my heart: education. I am privileged to have attended amazing educational institutions, pursued my corporate dreams, and taken my passion for creativity to the next level as a Digital Content Creator. I want to use my platform and my voice to make a difference, especially on this day because I recognize that there is no gift/item that brings me more joy than supporting those who need it the most (especially right now).
After spending multiple years as a teaching assistant at the College of Adaptive Arts (CAA) in the Bay Area, I realized that even till today there is a severe lack of opportunities for and discrimination against individuals with special needs/disabilities.
From seeing the challenges first-hand that relatives and friends with special needs face, and losing a loved one this past year with special needs, my goal is to support organizations like CAA to empower adults with special needs to creatively transform perceptions of disability and misconceptions about mental health.
I really appreciate all your love and support on this special day! I am grateful to have lived for 24 years and want to continue to dedicate my efforts towards teaching/mentoring and serving those in underrepresented/minority communities. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me!https://www.collegeofadaptivearts.org/about/
