Swim for Africa 2023
Tax deductible
Join me in our annual Swim-A-Thon fundraising event for saving lives in rural Africa. We have been raising funds for installing deep water boreholes in hard-to-reach villages in Malawi. Through the generosity of our sponsors, we have raised over $100,000 in the past and have installed 10 wells as well as supplied funds for medical clinics.
The Need: This year our goal is to raise funds for the WWFA "School Initiative" (installing wells in schools). Malawi has the highest dropout rates in southern Africa perpetuating the crisis of water poverty.
Dignity Health Hygiene
This WWFA School Initiative has already proven to:
• Facilitate infrastructure construction
• Increase attendance and retention of boys and girls
• Impact dramatic growth in academic performance
• Dramatically increase graduation rates –
offering freedom from water poverty
How to get Involved: Swim for one hour (run, bucket walk, ride, paddle) on Sept. 17th and gather sponsors or donate directly below. (Let us know if we can set up a donation page for you).
Every dollar raised goes directly to Water Wells for Africa
The Organization: Water Wells for Africa: We have been building water wells in rural Africa since 1996. WWFA provides sustainable water sources reducing health risks associated with contaminated water.
Thank you in advance for considering donating to save the precious lives of the most vulnerable.
