Swim for the Lake
Donation protected
My name is Sarah Hall, and I love my community, our dedicated citizens and our incredible outdoors. I also really love open water swimming.
On June 17, 2017, in support of an amazing group, the not-for profilt Muskrat Watershed Council, I'll be swimming the entire length of Muskrat Lake and part of the Muskrat River. The total planned swimming distance is over 16kms. Some of you may know that in 2014 and 2015 I swam the Northumberland Strait, but this year, I've decided to bring the energy home!
The swim is expected to take 5-6 hours with the entry point at the bottom of Meath Hill and ending at the Cobden boat launch. I hope to see some supporters there to enjoy the day and meet me and my team at the finish line.
All proceeds go directly to the Muskrat Watershed Council, a great non for profit organization working to improve the water quality in the entire Muskrat Lake Watershed.
Please support the council by making a donation to my swim and stay tuned for more details on other great events happening that day!
