Swim Pink - Breast Cancer Awareness

Join us in supporting a great family and cause by participating in the South Davis Masters Breast Cancer Intra-Squad Meet on October 15, 2016. 

Here is a little bit from Jenny Stringham :
Last spring between taking care of 4 teenagers, a husband, and a dog, I found out I had Breast Cancer.  What a shocker for this kale smoothie, exercising mom!  While attending many Dr appointments to figure out how extensive the cancer was I kept up my swimming, and exercise, and hoped for the best.  The best turned out to be stage 3c breast cancer.  Fortunately, I have an amazing support group surrounding me to help me through this year of surgeries, 16 rounds chemotherapy and radiation.  I love you all and couldn’t (and I wouldn’t want to) do this without you! 

I’d like to give a special shout out to my husband Don another Swim Master and the whole awesome Krusty Krab team and coaches for all their love and support.  I’m totally psyched about this swim meet and encourage all women to get those mammograms-it might just save your life like it did mine.

Here’s to meeting you back in the pool…. eventually.
