Swooz Ranch Fire

Hello world, My family and me were tragically effected by the recent and still on going SCU COMPLEX FIRES. We Live in LIVERMORE, CA in the mountains off of Mines Rd. . The lightning storm on Saturday and Sunday; which was reported to strike our regions and other parts of Northern California over 12,000 times.

Throughout the week of from August 17, 2020 the fire departments and local officials were fighting the fires in our area. We remained hopeful that it would be contained and not proceed towards our land. As the week continued the fires closed in from 3 sides on Thursday, August 20th, 2020 we returned to try and retrieve what what we could fit in our vehicle. As we were there we witnessed our neighbors home go up and flames and start to roll down into the canyon where our property lies. We were able to cram most of our clothing and important documents.

However in our efforts there are things that we just are not capable of saving. Our land is located in a remote area, we live off grid and were completely self sustainable. So with that come having to supply water your own water, electricity etc. The fire destroyed everything that would make our property uninhabitable.

This includes:
- 2 double wide mobile homes (One we lived in and the other for storage)

- 4KW 48V 12 Panel Solar system

- Well water pump

- 2500Gal water resivior

- 1500Gal water resivior

-  Barn for firewood storage

-  Shipping Container

These are just the basics to get us going again so we are not displaced and can expedite our rebuilding process.

This Amount im sure won't cover everything but it will be a tremendous help with getting the ball rolling for my family and me.
