Justice Swim

During the past few months, the duties of a responsible citizen in situations of crisis have been redefined. While people’s lives have been destroyed by the pandemic and surging social injustice has marginalized and threatened minorities all over the world, the millions of men, women and children who are dying of starvation have been forgotten. More than 800 million people face food shortage on a daily basis, and their crisis is not over because ours has started. Help is needed more than ever and together we must unite against injustice.

By attempting to swim the 30 km straight between Visingsö and Jönköping in the beginning of August, the two D1 college athletes Marcus Holmquist and Victor Johansson hope to raise awareness of food shortage around the world. A donation of just under $0.3 (~3 SEK) to WFP can provide one meal to a person in need, which means many lives can be saved by a generous donation. Together we can make a difference; support Justice Swim and please consider donating to save lives.

Everyone with a major debit or credit card can donate, regardless of where you live! Donations are also 100% tax deductible in the United States.

follow @justiceswim on Instagram for updates before, during and after the swim.

Thank you!
