SXSW Bands Fundraiser
From South By to South Wales.
Following SXSW's announcement to cancel this year's event, Focus Wales bring their original festival line up to Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff on the same night they would have played in Texas, for a live show to raise funds for the bands. As its a bit short notice and we're aware maybe not everyone who would like to come support can make the date, we've started an online fundraiser too! Any funds donated are greatly appreciated and will be split equally to the bands playing on the night to recoup some of the costs originally put towards their trip to Austin such as visas etc. You can see which bands are playing on the night below.
Yn dilyn cyhoeddiad SXSW i ganslo digwyddiad eleni, daw Focus Wales gyda'u lein-yp gwreiddiol yr ŵyl i Clwb Ifor Bach, Caerdydd ar yr un noson y bydden nhw wedi chwarae yn Texas, er mwyn codi arian ar gyfer y bands. Gan bod dyddiad y sioe yn agos iawn, rydym yn ymwybodol bod rhai pobl a hoffai rhoi i'r achos methu fynychu'r dyddiad, felly fe ddechreuon ni 'fundraiser' arlein hefyd! Byddwn yn gwerthfawrogi unrhyw rhodd yn fawr iawn, mi fydd yr arian â chodwyd yn cael ei rannu'n hafal rhwng y bands sy'n chwarae ar y noson er mwyn addennill rhai o gostau'r taith gwreiddiol i Austin fel visas ayyb.
