Act 1
It was a cold January morning when Brandy started her new job. Little did she know all of the excitement that awaited her here. Every day was something new. New designs, new ideas for backdrops, new inventory arriving or even backdrops being restored. There were always crazy things being returned inside backdrops like wigs, bowls and chain. They also had people who just stopped by to see what kind of business this was. Some people thought they were the florist next door because of all the plants in the windows. Over time she had learned all aspects of the company, one of her favorites was talking to the customers, she thought it was fun to help them look for drops and help them with ideas. Then after 14 years she was promoted to office manager.
Act 2
Forward 3 years. The owner is ready to retire and has given Brandy the opportunity to purchase the business. She now needs your help for the down payment. Her goal date is September 15th, 2020, but she is also knows it might take longer. She knows the company and has been there 17 years with a great team of employees and wonderful customers. She would love to be able to take the company even further. Offering more designs, digital images as well as the equipment needed to project the images.
The company means a lot to me and I would be so grateful for the help. This company is my home away from home. Thank you for reading my story!
