Need a little help from my friends

For my next medical adventure, I have a tiny lump in my right breast. No lymph node involvement that can be seen on sonogram or mammogram. However, the initial biopsy identified the cancer as 'mucinoso' which is a rare (because I'm special) cancer and normally slow growing on it's own, but one of it's properties is that it hooks up with any other cancer cells it encounters. Since I've had lung and bladder cancer in the past, the possibility of there being some rogue cells still floating around is real. So, I should have this little lump out as soon as possible especially now that the biopsy has degraded it.

I have Medicare in NY, but getting in to see an Oncologist and getting on their surgery schedule will take precious time.

I have already seen an Oncologist here in San Miguel who comes highly recommended and has been great about answering all my questions. So if I can raise the $6,000usd it would cost to have the lumpectomy and the various additional biopsies and tests done here at La Joya Hospital, I could avoid the time delays of the medical system in NY, the airfare ($1,000 right there), inconveniencing and putting a strain on my family, SNOW, etc., etc., I would like to stay here where I can have the lumpectomy done quickly and get on with my life.

Anything you can chip in to keep me here and get this over with ASAP, is more than appreciated, you will be my best friend forever, and you will accumulate endless amounts of good Karma.
