Sydney Jara

Hi my name is Oscar Jara and I’m trying to help our daughter Sydney achieve her potential and dreams of becoming a WTA player one day.

As a parent of 3 and Tennis Coach I realize that achieving this goal would be impossible without the help of friends and helpful people.

The game of tennis is a very grueling but very rewarding game. It teaches basic fundamentals of life. Work hard, be responsible, be professional, be honest, be prepared, be caring.

Thus far these fundamentals have brought Sydney some great success!

She achieved a number 1 National ranking in the 12 and 14 and under age groups.

Sydney has also won a Gold ball by winning The 14 and under National Hardcourts Championships.

In the very prestigious Easter Bowl tournament, Sydney was rewarded a Wildcard to participate in a higher 16s age group.

Sydney made the most of that wildcard to take home a Silver ball for being runner up!

As a 2008 birthday this was perhaps her greatest achievement.

These achievements are very rare by players from our section.

Sydney is on a great track to becoming a great tennis player and person. We are extremely proud of her success.

Sydneys dream is to one day be the very best in the world and to start a foundation to help kids in need of health and education.

Hopefully with everyone’s help this dream can become a reality.
