Hello everyone,
On Monday May 14, 2018, my niece, Sydney Williams was driving home after enjoying a cruise with her mother and a couple friends, when she was involved in a single car accident due to road construction right off of the exit they were taking in Alabama. Her mom and friends had some cuts and bruises, and one suffered a concussion, but Sydney got the worst of it, being ejected from the vehicle as it turned and flipped, landing on her head knocking her unconscious. Miraculously, there were paramedics near by that were able to get her in a flight for life, which is what potentially saved her life.
Along with needing immediate surgery to stop the swelling on her brain, Sydney suffered multiple facial fractures and severe head trauma.
My family and I are looking to help ease the financial burden of the mounting medical expenses, as she is still recovering in the intensive care unit, will need more surgeries, needs to be medically transported closer to home in Atlanta, Georgia, and in the near future, physical therapy.
We are incredibly grateful for any amount given. It has been a trying and scary last few days for my family, so you kindness and generosity is immensely appreciated.... even if it’s just well wishes and positive thoughts sent to my niece is very much appreciated.
