Hello,

I'm Rissa, and I am raising money for my best friend and the most amazing mom ever, Sydnie.

Sydnie went into the hospital on Friday 11/3 with shortness of breath, chest pain, back pain, and abdomen pain. What she thought would be an overnight stay has now turned into an indefinite stay. We have heard that she needs her gallbladder removed and that she has sinus tachycardia in half of her heart. They are now saying that she has an infection in the sac around her heart, which also has too much fluid in it. She was originally told it would be a 6-8 week recovery process. The doctors have not done much by way of fixing the issues or by way of care. She is currently on round the clock IV morphine, with her blood conditions worsening and her body trying to heal itself with no outside help. Lane, her husband, is currently taking time off of work to be with her and advocate for her as much as he can. They have a brand new little one, Vada, and a 4 year old, Silas. They both are in the care of trusted family members while they go through this awful time. We will keep everyone update with further progress. Any help you could give would alleviate so much for this family right now. Thank you.
