Rising Voice Awards Fundraiser 2023

The Rising Voices Awards are a collaboration between seven trailblazing youth literary magazines–The Stirling Review, The Incandescent Review, SeaGlass Literary, The Globe Review, The Trailblazer Review, HaluHalo Journal, and Outlander Zine, as well as our amazing partner Humanity Rising who is hosting the Rise Up Writing scholarship subdivision of the contest. This is the first contest ever of its kind, organized by a panel of youth arts organizations in collaboration with established guest authors. Through this contest, we aim to provide an opportunity to illuminate the budding voices of the new generation, through a judging and selection process that is youth-based, wholly transparent, and impartial.

Please help us reach our preliminary fundraising goal of $2,000, so that we have the necessary funds to provide prize money to winners from each division ($600 per division) as well as to compensate our judges (Nickole Brown, Michael Leong, Desmond Hall, and Indya Finch) justly for their hard work.
