SYHS Beach Volleyball Program

On August 17th, 2021, after the tremendous determination and effort of Melissa Rogers and many parents, students and community members, Santa Ynez High School agreed to add Girls Beach Volleyball to its program.
This is the first California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) sanctioned sport added by SYHS since the early 90’s!
The team will be coached by Melissa Rogers, who has been working to build this program into a CIF team sport for the last 9 years (Thank you, Melissa).

Since the high school does not have the funds to support the sport yet, Coach Melissa will be donating her time as coach and we will need to fund raise for everything else.  Additionally, the teams will be practicing and playing their matches at Sunny Fields Park in Solvang, but we hope to begin construction on the sand courts at the high school in the near future (this will be a whole other process that we will need to fund raise for).

WE NEED YOUR HELP to get started!

Please consider supporting this amazing new program for our high school girls.
We need money to purchase EVERYTHING from uniforms and balls to score cards/ref fees, facility fees and transportation (charter buses & vans).  Our current fundraising goal is $20,000 to get us started for this year and next.
