Sylhet House for the Poor and Needy as Sadaqah Jariyah
Asalaamu’laikum,
As you know in February this year my husband returned to Allah, having passed suddenly in his sleep on 05.02.24 at the age of 34.
On Monday 20.05.24 a friend of mine and a dear sister in Islam Rachelle, lost her Mother to COPD a respiratory disease. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
Like myself and Rachelle, Our beloved auntie Margarita Da Silva was a revert and aside from her daughter she had no other Muslim family.
Through our loss and our grief we have sought comfort in seeking the remembrance of Allah and our purpose in this life. Yesterday, we attended the hope and knowledge seminar to where they held a segment fundraising for various charity projects by 13 Rivers Trust.
One of these projects was to build a house for the most needy in the village of Sylhet, Bangladesh. Upon this, we decided to further honour our loved ones by continuing to help them in their graves by collectively funding a house on behalf of both Hamad Abu Ibraheem and Auntie Margarita Umm Rachelle as a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for them.
May Allah forgive them, may he elevate them in their graves, fill their graves with Noor, accept all means of Sadaqah done on their behalf and grant them the highest ranks in Jannah, Ameen.
May he also unite us in Jannah Al firdous, Ameen.
We ask if you could help us achieve the amount of £1,750 to be able to build a family a house on their behalf, May Allah accept it on your behalf also and May it weigh heavy on your scales onYammul Qiyyamah.
JazakaaAllahu Khair
Zara Umm Abdulkareem and Rachelle Bint Margarita.
