Sylvia Macias is a amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Who is loved by many who surround her.
On April 24, 2020 both hers and her family's life changed drastically as she was rushed to Methodist Hospital after feeling COVID like symptoms. After receiving multiple negative COVID testing's, her results showed  Pneumonia and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Which is a aggressive growing cancer in her blood). Doctors thought she wouldn't make it the first 48 hours of her arrival, but through prayers from many family and friends she made it pass those 48 hours. She is currently on going Chemotherapy. We are living in a time where we have a world wide pandemic that makes fight cancer more difficult. Not only is she more prone to any virus or illness but is now having to face chemotherapy and recovery alone in the hospital. 
Unfortunately her insurance does not cover many of her treatments and medications. Sylvia's journey will consist of many doctor appointments, specialists and treatments; both in and out of the hospital. She never imagined she would be fighting a cancer battle but she is determined to fight for her loved ones, her faith is strong and knows God will help her through this. However with ongoing medical expenses adding up, things haven't been easy. 
We are asking that people donate anything they can to help us in this fight against cancer, for those who aren't able to donate, please share this campaign and pray for Sylvia and her family.

Sylvia Macias es una increíble, hija, hermana, esposa, madre, abuela y amiga. Amada por mucha gente.
El 24 de abril de 2020 su vida y la de su seres queridos cambiaron, ya que fue llevada de urgencia al Hospital Metodista después de sentir síntomas similares a los de COVID. Después de varias pruebas, COVID-19 dio negativo; sin embargo, los resultados mostraron neumonía y Leucemia Mieloide Aguda (AML). AML es un cáncer agresivo de rápido crecimiento en su sangre. Sus doctores pensaron que no pasaría de las primeras 48 horas de su llegada al hospital. Pero a través de oraciones de muchos familiares y amigos pasó esas 48 horas. Actualmente está en quimioterapia. Aunque ahora con COVID lo hace más difícil porque tiene que estar sola en el hospital para la quimioterapia y la recuperación.
Sin embargo, la aseguranza no cubre mucho. La lucha de Sylvia va comenzando y le esperan muchas citas médicas, especialistas y tratamientos. Sylvia nunca imaginó que estaría luchando una batalla contra el cáncer, pero está decidida a luchar por sus seres queridos. Su fe es fuerte y sabe que Dios la ayudará a través de esto.
Sin embargo, con los gastos médicos que continuan aumentándose, las cosas no an sido fáciles. Pedimos ayuda aquellos que puedan donar para ayudarnos en esta lucha contra el cáncer.
