La première application se fera sur le projet céréalier d’Angela. Cette jeune agricultrice locale souhaite développer une production de granola (céréales, fruits et miel) en élargissant les zones de culture autour de la Ferme :)

✨Comment? Casalina s'intéresse donc à un nouveau modèle agricole, la syntropie.

C’est la naissance de Syntrolina : un nouveau laboratoire d'expérimentations d’agriculture resiliante et de formations, visant à développer les projets agricoles de Casalina et de son réseau (la Restanza, communauté locale d'agriculteur.ices).

→ C’est qui Casalina ? Un lieu porteur de valeurs, un espace de rêves, de partage et de création.

Dans le sud de l’Italie, dans les Pouilles, Casalina est bien plus qu’une ferme ! Avec une poignée de bénévoles, aide des ami.e.s et le soutien de réseaux d’agriculture solidaire, Angela a fait le pari audacieux de transformer un simple bout de terre en un espace de vie, de solidarité et d’innovation agricole:

✨Étalé sur une dizaine d'hectares, des vergers, des oliveraies, Casalina est un îlot d’espoir et d’action dans un monde en quête de solutions ✨

→ Pourquoi la syntropie ? La syntropie s’appuie sur la permaculture et l’agroforesterie régénérative pour allier production alimentaire et restauration des écosystèmes.

→ Mise en place de SYNTROLINA : Bienvenu⸱e⸱s sur notre projet de laboratoire d’agriculture syntropique.

Un laboratoire sur un hectare : Nous consacrons un hectare à l’expérimentation, avec un premier système implanté sur une parcelle de 500m2 la première année. Chaque année, une nouvelle parcelle de 500m2 sera mise en place, permettant ainsi une évolution progressive et maîtrisée du projet. Pour garantir la réussite de cette initiative, nous faisons appel à Terra Network, un réseau d’experts en agriculture syntropique.

Welcome to Casalina, nestled in the heart of Puglia in southern Italy. Here we dream big, and to make that dream come true, we need you!

✨ Our goal? To support young local farmers in launching a resilient and sustainable agricultural activity.

The first application will be on Angela's granola project. This young local farmer wants to develop a granola production (cereals, fruits and honey) by expanding the cultivation areas around the farm :)

✨How? Casalina is currently interested in a whole new agricultural model, the syntropy.

This is the birth of Syntrolina: a new laboratory for resilient agriculture experiments and training, aiming to develop the agricultural projects of Casalina and its network (la Restanza, local community of farmers).

→ Who is Casalina? A place of values, a space for dreams, sharing and creation.

In the south of Italy, in Puglia, Casalina is much more than a farm! With a handful of volunteers, a little help of friends and the support of solidarity agriculture networks, Angela has made the bold bet of transforming a simple piece of land into a space for life, solidarity and agricultural innovation:

• a place of solidarity for migrant seasonal workers

• a breeding ground for ideas surrounding sustainable agriculture

• a space for learning and sharing traditional and alternative know-how

• a venue for cultural and educational events

✨Spread over ten hectares of orchards and olive groves, Casalina is an island of hope and action in a world searching for solutions ✨

→ Why syntropy? Syntropy is based on permaculture and regenerative agroforestry to combine food production and ecosystem restoration.

This highly resilient technique:

• regenerates the soil

• combats desertification

• preserves biodiversity and ecosystems

• drastically limits the use of resources (especially water)

• is extremely productive

✨In a context of climate change and the desertification of agricultural land, syntropy represents a sustainable and credible solution for the future of agriculture ✨

→ Implementation of SYNTROLINA: Welcome to our syntropic agriculture laboratory project !

A one-hectare laboratory: We are dedicating one hectare to experimentation, with an initial system implemented on a 500m2 plot in the first year. Each year, a new 500m2 plot will be set up, allowing for a progressive and controlled evolution of the project. To guarantee the success of this initiative, we are calling on the Terra Network, a network of experts in syntropic agriculture.

The key stages of the project:

• System design (spring 2025): Residency with a Terra Network expert for the conception and design of the system.

• Preparation for implementation (autumn 2025): implementation of the first system on 500m2, in the form of a training course open to all.

• Implementation and follow-up: planting the crops, setting up the irrigation system and support from Terra Network for 3 years, whom will return regularly to supervise the project and organise open training sessions at each key stage.

• Autonomy! The Casalina team will be able to develop an economically viable and environmentally resilient agricultural model and will be able to continue to offer training to local farmers who wish to adopt these practices.

From the start, Syntrolina will have a direct impact on local farmers. It will support Angela in the production of her granola, as well as other farmers such as Pino, Marie-Antonietta and Vito, who are already interested in the support that Syntrolina can offer them.
