Syracuse University Equestrian Team

For over 15 years, both Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF students have come together to ride and compete for the Syracuse English Equestrian Club team. Emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and character through riding is our dedicated coach Denise Van Patten of Smoke Tree Farms.
As members of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, this past year has been historic for SUET. Earning High-Point team or Reserve High-Point team at each show we are tied for the lead in our region with two shows remaining!
A number of our riders already qualified for Regionals and we are working tirelessly to increase our chances to participate at IHSA Nationals in our own backyard at the New York State Fairgrounds here in Syracuse in May.
Our team has grown in number and skill, thanks to our coach as well as the financial support of Syracuse University, SUNY-ESF, and many of you. We cannot express how grateful we are for everything you do to help our team succeed in and out of the show ring. That being said, we ask for any support you might be willing to donate to help us increase our chances of representing Syracuse at Nationals in a few short months.
