Help my daughter fight cancer!

My name is Carolyn Cooper. My daughter, Wendy Cooper Veazey, was diagnosed with a very aggressive and rare type of melanoma a couple of years ago. She underwent surgery and immunotherapy and continued to work. But after several treatments, the side effects became unbearable, and her doctor ordered a break from the treatments. For a while, she seemed to do well, and her tumors had shrunk.

She went in for a re-check last week, and the cancer is growing again, and has spread. It is stage IV metastatic melanoma. It has now metastasized to her stomach, outside of her liver and middle of her back, and she is in constant pain. The doctor wanted to begin immunotherapy again immediately last week, but Wendy has recently had to stop working, and currently does not have the supplemental insurance needed to cover the treatments. The hospital will not provide treatments until Wendy has a way to pay for them.

Wendy needs money to cover the up-front costs of the supplemental insurance she needs, and to cover her out-of-pocket costs for her treatments and associated expenses moving forward. Our immediate family just does not have the means to provide this for her, so we are asking for your help.

Please donate if you can, to help Wendy begin treatment again to fight the fast-growing cancer. She needs funds as quickly as possible, so she can restart treatment as soon as possible to fight this terrible disease.
