Broken Ankle, Broken Life

Hi, my name is Joanna Dunn. My dear husband Gabe Dunn had an accident Dec 7, 2023 which unfortunately caused him to break his left ankle in three places. He had fallen down a hidden crawl space while delivering lumber.

Gabe is a talented, funny guy who is also a caring and generous person. He's probably helped you fix your car, house, refrigerator, or your broken heart, at no cost to you. He also may have made you laugh on stage, or with his dedicated volunteer work at his favorite non-profit organization community radio, Radio Boise KRBX. He's too proud to ask for help himself. It's difficult feeling trapped and useless, although it's temporary.

Not only has this time been terribly painful, it has become increasingly difficult for us to pay our monthly bills with only my income. My small tax refund check is gone from paying bills. We need some help with our rent and utilities this coming month. Gabe still has to get the screws taken out of his leg, so is still not able to work for up to 6 weeks after that appointment April 10th. He's not a desk worker. His job skills require mobility. We would be so grateful for any donations we receive. We are living hand to mouth. The stress and fear of losing our rental is overwhelming. It would be devastating.
