Elaine needs our help!

Earlier this year our friend Elaine (Lifeless Dark/ Saint Ripper) suffered a head injury that resulted in concussion. She has since been diagnosed with Post - Concussive Disorder. Elaine's daily life and livelihood have been completely upended and she is unable to sustain her home and health due to these hardships.
Our failing healthcare industry puts difficult road blocks and wait periods up everywhere, and Elaine is alone left to wade through bureaucratic telephone calls and paper trails all by herself (while facing a laundry list of symptoms most notable severe lack of sleep). She and her doctor have been slowly trying to sort through different treatments and finally have found that Chiropractic Treatment could potentially be a huge break through. Unfortunately, this therapy is not covered by her insurance and she will be required to pay entirely out of pocket.
Hopefully we as a community can come together and help support our friend at this time and get her the treatment she needs that our health care systems hold just outside her reach, as well as stabilize her living situation and food insecurity.
We need Elaine safe and healthy as soon as possible!
"Concussions range from mild to severe, with symptoms following a similar arc.
Headache
Head pressure
Blurry vision
Confusion or mental fogginess
Dizziness
Memory loss, particularly surrounding the event that caused the injury
Nausea and/or vomiting
Slurred speech
Trouble forming verbal responses
Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
Uncontrollable fatigue
Sleep issues
Problems with taste and smell
Lack of concentration
Irritability
Anxiety
Mood swings and personality changes
Depression
Sensitivity to light and noise
While some of the physical manifestations of a concussion will show up
right away, cognitive symptoms may not appear for hours, days or even
weeks. Sometimes symptoms persist indefinitely, in which case a
patient may be diagnosed with a disorder called post-concussion
syndrome. With PCS, symptoms often fade and reappear in response to
physical or mental stress. The syndrome can be quite debilitating and
disrupt the patient’s life considerably."
